When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Kindly RSVP no later than February 11th, 2024.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We're so excited to celebrate this day with our nearest and dearest. Unfortunately due to our venue we are very limited on space so extra guests cannot be accommodated. We hope that you can still be present at this very important day in our lives.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, Semi-Formal: Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses Special Theme Request (not required) Met Gala: Bel Jardin (Beautiful Garden) We encourage you to have some fun with your attire, brighten it up with color, make it interesting with texture, create a feeling, make someone look.

Are kids welcome?

Unfortunately we are only able to accommodate the children in the wedding party at our reception. We hope you enjoy the night off!

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please let us know ahead of time, our venue will accommodate food allergies.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, the will be free parking provided at the venue.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Transportation will be available upon request. The cost is $25 each way per person. The shuttle will pick up guests at the Kimpton Sawyer Hotel in Downtown Sacramento and drop off at the same location after the event. If you are staying at a different hotel near by, you are welcome to ride in the shuttle to the Kimpton, but they do not drop guests off at alternate hotels. Important to note: The Grand Island Mansion is in a rural area along a levy, at night the roads are dark and winding. The location and does not have great reception, it is not advised to take an Uber or Lift from this venue. Please use an alternate mode of transportation.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

The ceremony begins at 5:30 pm.
