We met in 2020 while working at MOD Pizza together, during the height of the pandemic. We were both well into our respective school programs at the time, but we were both struggling to grapple with the pressure of juggling a degree, health problems, and an unprecedented time which left us each feeling alone. As restrictions started lifting around the country, Edward moved to Denver for a few months for a change of pace. Upon returning to Sahuarita was when we started to connect a lot more, around September-October of 2021. We both found comfort in each other. Our struggle bonded us, we took care of each other as we planned our escape from rock bottom. We made a genuine commitment to ourselves to turn our lives around, and take care of each other. Fast forward to now. We are both going very strong, we have begun new respective career paths, we make a genuine effort to live healthily, and we're both committed to each other and our family's future! Edward is now pursuing a career path in aviation maintenance, and Kaitlyn is about half way done with her Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience at the University of Arizona. Our plan for the future is to move somewhere new, as job opportunities allow. Children will be soon to follow!
