Becoming the Qureshis
Elle and Justin first met their freshman year of high school — in the gym during the STAAR test, of all places. Elle had never seen him before, so she passed him a sticky note that read, “Who are you? I’ve never seen you before.” That simple note started a friendship that quickly grew into something special.
By the end of sophomore year, they had become best friends. On Halloween night in 2020, they decided to take a chance on something more, and just a few days later — over Baskin Robbins ice cream on November 3rd — Justin officially asked Elle to be his girlfriend.
Five years later, during a trip to Denver, Justin got down on one knee at Echo Lake Park and asked Elle to spend forever with him. It was a perfectly magical moment — simple, sincere, and completely them.
From a classroom sticky note to a lifetime of love, their story has been one of laughter, growth, and choosing each other every step of the way.
