Sean and I were total strangers back in 2020. It was 1 AM when we connected online, a time I never expected to meet someone who would change my life. We were both going through our own struggles, and honestly, I didn’t want anyone I hadn’t met yet… but somehow, God had other plans. That night marked the beginning of something I never saw coming. We were long distance for three years. It wasn’t easy, but God made us stronger. Through late-night calls, virtual dates, and countless moments of missing each other, we built a love that could weather anything. Every challenge brought us closer, and every shared laugh reminded us why we were meant to be together. In December 2024, Sean asked me to marry him. From that night onward, our prayers shifted, not just toward planning the wedding, but toward something far greater: asking God to prepare us for a strong, lasting marriage. Since then, He has shown us what marriage truly looks like, through patience, understanding, forgiveness, and selfless love. Every challenge we faced, every decision we made together, and every moment of support and encouragement became a lesson in what it means to love each other as God intended. Through this journey of preparation, our love has grown deeper and more steadfast. We’ve learned to rely on God not only for guidance but also for the kind of love that strengthens and uplifts, even in the toughest moments. Every day, we see more clearly that our bond is not just built on affection or shared memories... it is rooted in faith, guided by God, and nurtured by the care we show each other. That “yes” in December was just the beginning, and since then, we have loved each other more fully, more intentionally, and more faithfully than ever before. As we prepare to celebrate our wedding, we are filled with gratitude, not just for the love we share, but for the journey that brought us here, the lessons God has taught us, and the people who have walked alongside us. We cannot wait to begin this next chapter, hand in hand, heart to heart, and with God guiding every step. Mark 10:9 “Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.”
