FAQs

If you have any other questions than what we have listed here, please feel free to reach out to us!
Question

WHEN SHOULD I RSVP?

Answer

If you are able to RSVP as soon as you receive your invitation, that would be extremely helpful! We ask that you RSVP before February 21st. After that, unfortunately, any unanswered invites will have to be marked as "not attending" due to our vendors' cut off dates.

Question

WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 3:00pm. Please arrive at least 15 - 20 minutes prior to the ceremony to give yourself plenty of time to park and find a seat. Cocktail hour begins at 5:45pm with dinner to follow at 7:00pm.

Question

CAN I TAKE PICTURES?

Answer

We are having an "unplugged" ceremony (no phones or cameras). Also, the Chapel of the Incarnate Word does not allow videography inside the sanctuary. The greatest gift you can give us is to be fully present as we say "I do." We have hired professionals to capture this moment for us and we promise to share our photos as we receive them. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos and videos as you would like!

Question

ARE KIDS INVITED?

Answer

Although we love our little ones, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adult-only event. This excludes the little ones in our bridal party and immediate family. We hope you take the opportunity to enjoy a date night and we appreciate you making prior arrangements!

Question

WILL THERE BE AN OPEN BAR?

Answer

Of course! We ask that all guests please drink responsibly and do not drive if you plan on drinking. Please make arrangements for a safe ride home. We can't wait to celebrate accordingly!

Question

CAN I BRING A PLUS ONE?

Answer

We would love to keep our wedding intimate as possible. If you received a plus one, it will be listed on your invitation and will appear under your name when you RSVP through the website. We appreciate you understanding!

Question

IS THERE A DRESS CODE?

Answer

We would love to see our friends and family dressed up with us! Our dress code is formal and cocktail attire. Both the ceremony and reception will be held indoors, and cocktail hour will be held outside in the courtyard of the McNay Art Museum.
