Even though COVID postponed our wedding date, Eric & I got legally married on our original wedding date with our parents as witnesses. The night was spent celebrating with our closest family and friends

Eric and Susie went to Hersey High School together but met later in life while swiping right on Tinder. Susie had been living in the city of Chicago for a couple years in Wrigleyville and Eric decided to ask her out on their first date shortly after moving to the city himself. Their first date consisted of drinks at Barrelhouse Flat, Eric's first shot of Malort and other bar hops around the city. After a few more dates and Susie's rendition of the Bachelorette - Eric received the final rose. They both found loving companions in one another and have enjoyed watching their relationship evolve over the last 5 years. Although similar in many ways, Susie and Eric hold many differences that have challenged the other in a positive way. Susie has pushed Eric to travel more, finding value in other cultures, foods, and Walt Disney World. Eric has taught Susie to be more patient, to not take life so seriously, and to maybe like the occasional football game. They truly are each others match
