Our story is unique, just like our love for one another, and the circumstances that make up our relationship. As many of you know, Paul is stationed in Hawaii on the beautiful island of Oahu. On the other hand, I am living in Bel Air, Maryland finishing up my Bachelor's Degree at Towson University. Being 4,800 miles apart, separated by the Pacific Ocean, and either 5 or 6 hours apart in time (depending on daylight savings) has made our journey difficult, but rewarding and worthwhile. The good majority of our story has been shared on FaceTime, making 5-hour+ phone calls, texting, and sending packages on special occasions. While we spend a lot of time apart due to the extreme distance, we make up for it when we are together by filling our time with endless adventures and laughs. Whether we are jumping out of planes or free-water diving with sharks on North Shore, or driving to the beach house in Ocean City, or even when we relax and eat dino nuggets, we do so with the biggest grins of joy on our faces and deep, mutual fun-filled love in our hearts. The unique circumstances surrounding our relationship are what makes us special and makes our love story my favorite. Had the Eagles never won the Super Bowl in 2018, then Paul and I may never have crossed paths! Thank God for the Eagles, and GO BIRDS!
Our very first date together was during the Christmas season of 2018. Paul took me to the Miracle on 34th Street in Baltimore, where he ultimately asked me to be his girlfriend. Fast forward one year exactly, Paul unsuspectingly took me back to the very same spot where he would end up getting on one knee and asking me to marry him. Paul, with the help of his sister, captured the entire proposal by reaching out to Mitch Lebovic- a very close family-friend and amazing photographer. Paul's sister met us on the Miracle on 34th Street and lead us to the picture-perfect spot, where Mitch was hidden and waiting to capture the entire proposal. After the proposal, Paul took me on what I thought was a celebratory dinner date for two, but turned out to be another surprise. Our immediate families from both sides were waiting in Liberatore's for us to arrive, and we all celebrated the proposal together with some food and wine. Needless to say, it was the best Christmas Eve ever and a magical moment that we will all cherish forever!
