Flight
If you’re flying in, Minneapolis–Saint Paul International Airport (MSP) is your best bet. It’s about a 90-minute drive to Eau Claire, WI…long enough to listen to a few podcasts and question your life choices, but not long enough to require snacks and a playlist and a nap. MSP has all the major airlines and plenty of rental car options on site.
Flight
If you’re loyal to United (or just want to skip the majestic scenery of I-94), Chippewa Valley Regional Airport (EAU) is another option. It’s much closer to Eau Claire, though the rental car selection is… minimal. You may end up with something called a “compact,” which, in rental car terms, means “tiny mystery box with wheels.”
Travel Note
Want to avoid renting a car? Groome Transportation runs from MSP to Eau Claire for $55 per person each way (when booked online) Times and tickets are on their website, and you won't have to argue with your GPS about which cornfield to turn at.
Shuttle
June 6, 2026 3:30 pm - 12:00 am
You’re more than welcome to drive to the farm, but if you plan to enjoy the open bar (and let’s be honest, you probably should), we strongly recommend taking the shuttle. It’ll run every 60 minutes between the hotels and the farm, and it’s way safer than navigating the rural roads after dark. It may or may not be a school bus, so if you’ve ever wanted to relive Mike’s childhood route to school, boy are you in luck!
