FAQs

The Wedding Website of EJ Huston and Matt Warren
Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is "dressy casual.” We hope you will feel spiffy and special but also comfortable. Some ways this can look: dresses, jumpsuits, slacks, skirts and nice tops; slacks or chinos, button-down shirts or polos and blazers with no tie. If you're unsure, feel free to contact me (EJ). EXTREMELY OPTIONAL: if you want to nod to the wedding colors with your outfit, they're the colors above: dark blue, dark purple, crimson, coral, golden yellow and pale pink. I cannot stress enough that this is only if this is fun for you.

Question

What weather should I expect? Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Weather permitting, the ceremony will be in a field with a mountain view.* The reception will be in a big tent. The tent will have heaters, but for the ceremony, we recommend bringing layers, as the average low for that time of year is 41°F, and high 58°F. *In the event of rain, the ceremony will also be in the big tent.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We politely request no children attend the ceremony and reception. Thank you in advance for understanding.

Question

Do you guys expect gifts?

Answer

Absolutely not. We know these are crazy times economically and everyone is busy. Taking the time and money to come is the best gift we could ask for. The registry is only there by request.

Question

What's the deal with the CharityChoice gift cards on your registry?

Answer

All the CharityChoice gift cards we receive will be split between three charities chosen by us: Borderlands Restoration Network https://www.borderlandsrestoration.org/ The Trevor Project https://www.thetrevorproject.org/ Direct Relief https://www.directrelief.org/

Question

Covid Note

Answer

While we are not requiring or expecting mask-wearing at the wedding, there will be immune compromised loved ones present. Therefore, we politely request that you wear a mask on your way to the wedding, and stay home if you feel ill. Thanks!
