We're Getting Married!

It all began with a prayer—two prayers, actually. Emma had been praying for God to bring her a godly man who would pursue her with intention. At the same time, EJ had been praying for eight months, asking God for the perfect opportunity to meet the woman he knew in his heart was meant for him. One day, while Emma was singing in the choir at the Brooklyn Tabernacle, EJ saw her and immediately knew she was the one. But he waited, trusting that God would bring the right moment. Eight months later, that moment finally arrived. In April 2022, through mutual friends, we met over coffee. From the very first conversation, we clicked—it felt like we had known each other forever. In May, we went on our first date, which lasted nearly five hours, filled with deep conversation and laughter. When EJ finally told Emma about his eight months of prayer, she knew—without a doubt—that he was the one.
