Question

When should I arrive?

Answer

Please begin to arrive at the venue as early as 4:00 pm. If you arrive after the ceremony has started, at 4:30 pm, you will not be able to access the venue or parking and will have to wait until the ceremony has ended to access the venue.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Please dress as fancy as you'd like. It might be a little hot, so feel free to dress in linens, summer dresses, khakis, etc. no suits and ties required.

Is the Ceremony, Cocktail Hour, and Food & Fun at the same location?

Answer

Yes. The Orchard, Stone Barn, and Poplar Barn are all located at Sylvanside Farm.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

Average highs of 87°F (31°C) and lows of 65°F (18°C).

If driving, where should I park?

Answer

There will be signs leading to parking when you arrive at the main entrance of the venue. The parking is at the back side of the property.

What is the proper shoe choice?

Answer

Stilettos are NOT encouraged. The terrain is uneven, the ceremony will be on grass and all other buildings have stones and wood floors. Clean cowboy boots are welcome!

Will there be hotels blocks and transportation?

Answer

See the travel page for hotel block information. We plan to have a bus that will bring guests to and from Sylvanside Farm for two hotel options.

Can I bring my children?

Answer

No, please do not bring your children unless the bride and groom have told you directly in your RSVP invitation. We appreciate your understanding that our direct family has many children and we cannot accommodate additional children.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Please do not bring a plus one unless you have been notified that you can bring one. We are trying to keep the guest list to close friends and family. Thank you for your understanding!

Is there a registry?

Answer

In keeping with French traditions we will not have a traditional gift registry and instead have options for donating to our honeymoon and future life funds. See the registry page of our website for more details.
