It was Fall 2004, Riordan’s first co-ed dance – "The Pajama Jam". Eizelle and Jeremy, both high school freshmen at the time, met before the dance started through a mutual a friend. They shared a few dances and ended the night with an 8th grade style slow dance for the last song. Unfortunately, this is not how their love story began. After a failed attempt of dating during their senior year of high school, Eizelle and Jeremy decided to just be friends. Two years of close friendship later, they rekindled their feelings for one another and became boyfriend and girlfriend. Fast forward 12 years, one fur baby and one human baby later, Eizelle and Jeremy are getting married! Finally.

On September 11, 2021, Eizelle and Jeremy celebrated their daughter’s 2nd birthday at Avalon Park. Moments after singing happy birthday, Jeremy handed their daughter off to a family member close by. He took Eizelle’s hand, expressing his love and commitment, and got down on one knee. Eizelle responded with a teary “yes” head nod. Eizelle and Jeremy were happily engaged surrounded by family and friends.
