They are the classic millennial love story - love at first swipe! They met through an online dating app, and after talking for a little while they decided to go for their first date. It was immediately evident that they shared the same values, hopes, dreams, and (most importantly) humor. After a couple of dates, Becca offered to help Scott dig a foundation for a shed he was moving on his property. It was a learning process for both of them - just how do they do this thing? Everything was done by hand, and just slightly over-engineered for a little storage shed. However, the foundation was strong and stands as the perfect metaphor for the foundation on which their relationship was built. Over the many weekends of digging, several chore beers, and lots of music - love blossomed. Rebecca is a Senior Business Learning Specialist for Mutual of Omaha. She works remotely, allowing her to spend her spare time on her favorite hobbies and with her family. She is an obsessive crocheter, and loves to watch Scott work at his desk or play video games on his off-time. Scott is a Lead Software Engineer for Power Monitors Inc. When he isn't at work he's either working toward his dream of building a farm, or working on video game development. Somehow, he expertly balances his time between work, his goals, his property, and his family. He's quite the catch! Together they enjoy cooking, gaming, singing, music, working outside, and just plain chilling on the couch.
