This is the original Bob’s and it has been re-acquired by Bob himself. Classic steakhouse with a Loyal following in the city. The skillet potatoes with the house peppercorn sauce is a favorite.
A Dallas original since 1998, besides high end steaks, the restaurant prides itself on its major wine selection. Ask for Miguel if you’re serious about your wine pairing.
Besides steaks, plenty of seafood and sushi options to go with the steaks. If you want a few drinks this has a separate bar room where you can still eat off the full menu. Try the popcorn.
Our first date was here, so its special to us. Legendary bar that is ALWAYS difficult to get a seat. Like the previous two on this list, great for people watching and a DJ will be present on the weekends. If you don’t post the Cotton Candy desert to your Instagram, Can you even say you were there?
Dallas is known for the “people watching” and this IS the place to be seen. The Caviar Bar is free and no need to use the menu, they will bring all of the evening cuts on a platter to show. Keep on the look out, you may even bump into an athlete or celeb here.
If you want to party, this place draws a younger crowd. Most seating is in the central ballroom, so it can be loud, but it brings out an energy and vibe to get your night going. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Alexis' favorite aquarium in the country. Aquatic life and zoo animals, some of which you are able to feed. (I recommend feeding the sloths) 1000/10 recommend.
The signature park of the City of Dallas. The spring flowers will be in bloom. Scenic views of White Rock Lake. Restaurants and snack bars are stationed around the gardens. Very popular for family photos.
The Grassy Knoll and 6th Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza, plenty of history only minutes from the hotel.
A jewel of the city and always a great way to get your steps in. Katy Trail Ice House and Tequila Social on the trail in case you need a refreshing libation
5 floors and many exhibits. Always has great exhibits with NASA/Space and Dinosaurs.
The drive around the campus and "The Boulevard" is a Must, if you visit SMU.
