For those not staying at the villa, we recommend: Calella de Palafrugell or Llafranc – both are beachside towns with lots to do, and the wedding bus will pick up from this area. Staying near the beachfront is best. Aparthotel Arrels d’Empordà – closer to the venue, quieter, with an outdoor pool. A good option for shorter stays. There are flights most days into Barcelona. If you can arrive by midday on Monday, a shuttle bus will take guests to Palafrugell. From there, those staying at the villa will be taken up to the villa. Everyone at the main villa will check out Friday at 10am. We’ll be taking a coach back to Barcelona, timed so that anyone on the mid-afternoon Glasgow flight won’t be rushed. If you’re leaving Palafrugell and would like a lift on the coach, just let us know and we’ll save you a spot. This will work out £20pp per way. We ask if you are able to contribute to help cover the cost of the coach.

Taxi Information during your stay

We will arrange a bus to and from the wedding venue and also the following day. Pick ups will be confirmed but there will be one from the beach location & one in palafrugell to cater for everyone. If you have hired a car you are welcome to leave this the day of the wedding and collect the next day. To note, if you independently wish to get a taxi to or from the venue this averages around £50 per way as it is a country road so please keep this in mind (hence why we will put transport on) however, if you choose to do this try and fill the taxi to make it affordable!
