We met on an online dating app. After a week of texting back and forth Sean asked me out on our first date. Unfortunately for Sean it was the week of my 30th birthday and I had most of my week scheduled for different birthday events. He was very patient and we scheduled to meet up at Noble Hops after his nieces birthday party. We spent the evening talking and laughed about all of life’s aspects and even sealed the date with a kiss.
Sean and I had planned a fun trip to Kauai, as we get there, we arrive to a rainy island. The next day we were suppose to go zip-lining, this was cancelled due to the 12 inches of rain we had gotten the night before. Little did I know that Sean had the ring with him waiting for the perfect moment to propose. The following days we explored the island and went on many...wet...hikes to beautiful waterfalls, drove around the island trying all the Mai Tai's as we could and even got to see a beautiful sunset with sea turtles. All which were potential spots he was considering proposed but wanted it to be a little more intimate. That night he suggested we go out early in the morning and watch a sunrise since we had been waking up at 3am anyways from jet lag and being morning people. The next morning we went to a beach close to the resort and with out anyone insight I suggested we set up a timer and take a picture together. Sean set up the timer and rushed over to me and got down on one knee and I turned in utter surprise as he asked me to marry him while the sun slowly came up and peaked through the clouds.
