What can we expect in regards to COVID?

Please check the following website for the latest COVID-19 protocols for Belize. Currently, international visitors must stay at a Gold Standard Hotel (as deemed COVID-safe by the government) and purchase travel insurance. https://www.travelbelize.org/health-safety/ We realize we are hosting a destination wedding during a global pandemic. As such, we are not comfortable accommodating unvaccinated guests. Each hotel's COVID-specific protocols can be found on their respective websites. All Belizean employees are vaccinated. We will be greeted with temperature checks. Masks are encouraged in common spaces when interacting with other guests. Luckily, we will be the only party present and anticipate spending most time outdoors.
