Question

What should I wear to the ceremony?

Answer

Please wear Semi-Formal or Dressy Casual summer attire. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes for walking/standing as the ceremony will take place about a quarter mile into Los Conchas Trail.

Question

What is the weather like in the area?

Answer

Jemez mountain summers are warm during the day and cool in the evening. We recommend bringing a light sweater or wrap to cover bare shoulders for the outdoor reception.

Question

What extras should I consider packing?

Answer

| Hiking Gear | Swimsuit (for the hot springs or river walk) | Comfortable Shoes | Layers | | Sunscreen | Hydration Options (Propel; Nuun) |

Question

How might the elevation affect me?

Answer

At about 8,500 ft. above sea level, here are a few things to remember: The UV rays from the sun are more intense, so be sure to bring sun protection! To avoid dehydration, be sure to drink plenty of water, and consider bringing an electrolyte supplement.

Question

Can I bring my own alcohol to the wedding reception?

Answer

Yes, you are welcome to bring your own alcohol to the reception. While we will be offering one complimentary lager beer to each guest, any additional drinks will need to be provided by you. We kindly ask that you bring a reasonable amount of alcohol for personal consumption, keeping in mind the enjoyment and safety of all guests.

Question

How do I get to the wedding venue?

Answer

On the day of the wedding, guests will gather at the reception location, the Filers' house. If you drive your own vehicle, we encourage carpooling from places of lodging to the Filers'. From there, people will be shuttled to and from the ceremony due to limited parking at Los Conchas Trailhead.

Question

How do I get there if I fly or take the train to Albuquerque?

Answer

Please make arrangements for someone to pick you up or rent a vehicle. If you need a ride, feel free to reach out to the Bride and Groom and they will help coordinate transportation for you.
