Question

If I want to purchase a gift from the registry directly from a store (versus through Zola), what shipping address should I use?

What should I do if I miss the deadline to reserve a room in the hotel block?

Answer

No worries at all! Just reach out to the hotel and mention our wedding — they will most likely be able to accommodate you with our discount in a room outside of our block. If not, you can find additional nearby accommodations on our travel page.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Weather permitting, our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors, and the reception will take place indoors. Guests will mostly walk on paved pathways, but will need to step on grass briefly when taking their seats. For this reason, thin heels or stilettos are not recommended.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Semi formal (e.g., dress shirt and tie, midi/maxi cocktail dress) OR western semi-formal (e.g., cowboy boots, dark jeans/dress slacks, flowy top and high-waisted skirt) is preferred!

Are there any colors to avoid wearing?

Answer

Please avoid wearing sage green, if possible!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation.

Are children invited?

Answer

Due to space limitations, we request an adults-only celebration, with the exception of the children in our wedding party. Thank you in advance for your understanding!

Will transportation be provided to and from the venue?

Answer

Yes! We will be providing a shuttle service for all invited guests between the Courtyard by Marriott Coatesville and The Barn at Stoneybrooke. Ahead of the ceremony, all shuttles will be located in the front of the hotel and depart at approximately 3:15 PM. After the reception, the shuttle will transport guests back to the hotel at 10:15 PM.

What time should I arrive to the ceremony if I’m not taking the shuttle?

Answer

Please plan to arrive at least 30 min before the start of the ceremony.

Can I take photos/videos during the ceremony?

Answer

We would prefer if you did not take photos during the ceremony, but we encourage you to take photos/videos throughout cocktail hour and the reception. We will provide a QR code where we would appreciate you uploading and sharing them with us!

Will there be meal options for guests with dietary restrictions or allergies?

Answer

If you have a dietary restriction or allergy, please let us know when completing our online RSVP form (the link to the form will be posted on our wedding website within the next few weeks).

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

There will be an open bar for guests to enjoy throughout cocktail hour and the reception, however, we do recommend bringing cash to take care of the bartenders!
