International Flights For guests travelling internationally, the most convenient airports are: - Milan Malpensa Airport (MXP) – Strongly recommended This is the main international airport and the best option for long-haul flights. - Milan Linate Airport (LIN) A smaller airport mainly serving European routes, ideal if connecting through another European city. - Milan Bergamo Airport (BGY) Used primarily by low-cost airlines. It is slightly farther from Lake Como but still a valid option.
Travel Note
Once in Milan, we recommend the following options: Private Transfer (Most Comfortable Option) A private driver is the easiest and most stress-free way to reach Lake Como, especially after a long international journey. Travel time from Malpensa Airport is approximately 1–1.5 hours, depending on traffic. Transfers can take you directly to your accommodation. Please contact the travel assistance linked in the tab below if you would like additional help arranging this. Train Trains run frequently from Milan to Como S. Giovanni or Como Nord stations. From the station, a taxi or private transfer is required to reach hotels along the lake. Please note that Ubers/Lyft will not be available in the Lake Como towns or in Italy in general.

We recommend staying on the western side of Lake Como, particularly in Sala Comacina, Lenno, Tremezzo, Cadenabbia, or Menaggio, to minimize travel time and enjoy beautiful lake views.
