Our story began in a way neither of us expected. Aidin was working as a medical assistant for Eileen’s sister, Mahsa, who was convinced from the start that we would be the perfect pair. From there, we quietly began a relationship, careful to ensure it would not interfere with Aidin’s workplace. During that time, Aidin would travel to San Francisco to visit Eileen while she was attending dental school, and it was there that our lives truly began to intertwine. Together, we attended festivals, met each other’s closest friends, and celebrated countless postgraduate milestones along the way. Over the past four years, our love story has grown through shared passions, hobbies, and a genuine joy in simply spending time together. No matter where life takes us, Southern California will always feel like home—a place that shaped us both, where our families are, and where so many of our favorite memories continue to be made.
