Question

Where should I stay for the wedding?

Answer

We would love for you to stay with us at Sandos Finisterra All-Inclusive Resort. One of the main reasons we chose a destination wedding was to spend more meaningful time with the people we love most. For booking and travel details, please visit our Travel page and use our Eilderts Wedding booking link, created by our travel advisor, to reserve your accommodations and travel.

Question

What dates should I book my trip?

Answer

Our wedding room block at Sandos Finisterra Resort is available from November 19–29. You are welcome to stay for any portion of this time. We recommend arriving in time to join us for our Welcome Party on November 22, with the wedding on November 24. You may also choose to arrive earlier, stay later, or both—whatever works best for you. We understand that the Thanksgiving holiday may affect travel plans. Mason and Kate will be staying November 19–27.

Question

Will it cost anything to book through Kate & Mason’s travel advisor?

Answer

To make travel planning simple, we’ve partnered with our travel advisor, Rachel Pride of Endless Destinations (Funjet Vacations), who is coordinating all room accommodations for our wedding at no cost to you. She can personally walk you through your travel options, provide custom quotes, or you may book on your own using her Eilderts Wedding booking link with our group code. Booking through Rachel helps ensure everything runs smoothly for our group. Guests who do not use our wedding room block may result in the couple incurring a resort fee for your attendance. Rachel has been BEYOND amazing to work with. From quick responses to handling flight changes, she has truly made travel planning seamless for us and our families. To view all travel options, please visit our Travel page!

Question

How can I book an air and hotel package for the wedding?

Answer

If you’d like to purchase an air and hotel package with the option to make payments, please contact Rachel directly: Email: rachel@endlessdestinationsbyrachel.com Phone: 616-813-5018 If you prefer to pay in full, you may use our wedding booking link on our travel page to reserve your package.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the resort, Sandos Finisterra?

Answer

Transportation to and from the airport is offered through Sandos Finisterra. When booking with our travel advisor, you may choose to include this service, or you are welcome to arrange alternative transportation if you prefer. All wedding-related events will take place at Sandos Finisterra, so no additional transportation is needed unless you choose to go off the resort. In that case, you will be responsible for arranging your own transportation.

Question

When do I need to book my trip by?

Answer

Book By: Saturday, July 4, 2026 To secure your accommodations at Sandos Finisterra, please book through our Eilderts Wedding booking link by July 4, 2026. If you’d like a custom quote, need help selecting flights, or want the option to pay for an air and hotel package in installments, please contact Rachel directly. She can personally guide you through your travel options and handle all arrangements. Booking through Rachel ensures a smooth process for our group. Guests who book outside our Eilderts Wedding link may result in additional resort fees for the couple.

Question

Will there be other wedding activities throughout the trip?

Answer

We have a few fun ideas planned in addition to spending time at the resort with our guests! To make sure we can include everyone as best as possible, we’d love to have a better idea of guest count and travel plans. We kindly encourage you to RSVP and share your travel details with us. Tentative Schedule: Sunday, November 22 - Pool Day & Welcome Party in the evening (everyone) Monday, November 23 - Rehearsal Dinner (wedding party only) Tuesday, November 24 - Wedding Day; Ceremony at 4 p.m. Wednesday, November 25 - The Resort’s White Party on the Beach (all-white attire), featuring music, food, and entertainment.

Question

When can we RSVP?

Answer

You may RSVP once formal invitations are sent out. If you know you will not be able to attend before formal invitations are sent out, please do not hesitate to reach out and let us know as soon as possible.

Question

What happens if I do not RSVP in time?

Answer

Please note that if we do not receive your RSVP by the date provided, we will assume you are unable to attend. We will miss celebrating with you, but we need to provide our venue with a final guest count in a timely manner. If you’re still deciding and need a little more time, please reach out to Kate as soon as possible.

Question

Can I bring a guest or my children?

Answer

We are so excited to celebrate with our closest family and friends! Due to venue capacity and budget limitations, we are only able to accommodate the guests specifically listed on your invitation and electronic RSVP on our website. While we absolutely adore your little ones, our guest count is limited. We hope you’ll still be able to join us for a relaxing and joyful celebration. We’ve chosen a kid-friendly resort, as some children from our immediate family and wedding party will be attending. We completely understand that traveling without children can be challenging. If you have any questions about your invitation, bringing a plus one, or your little ones, please don’t hesitate to reach out to Kate.

Question

Will I need a passport?

Answer

Yes, traveling to Mexico requires a valid passport. Please double-check that your passport will not expire in 2026. If you need to update or apply for a new passport, keep in mind it can take up to three months to receive it, so plan ahead to avoid any delays.

Question

Will the wedding be outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be on the beach at Sandos Finisterra, with cocktail hour and the reception outdoors on the rooftop terrace. In Cabo this time of year, daytime temperatures are typically in the high 70s to low 80s, with evenings cooling to the mid- to low 60s.

Question

Gifts

Answer

We are so grateful for the effort you’ll be making to join us for our destination wedding. Your presence is truly the greatest gift we could ask for. So please, no gifts!
