Open for breakfast and lunch, The Gardens features a custom-crafted menu that blends comfort food favorites with elevated, seasonal flavors. The Bear's Cup Café Bar
Start your day or take a break at The Bear’s Cup, Rumbling Bald’s cozy café bar located near Bald Mountain Golf Course. Proudly serving Starbucks® favorites—including cappuccinos, lattes, iced coffee drinks, and seasonal blends—this spot is perfect for your morning pick-me-up or an afternoon refresh. Guests can enjoy quick “Grab-n-Go” breakfast and lunch options, along with cold beverages, craft beer, and light snacks. Relax on the outdoor patio overlooking the golf course, gather around the nearby firepit, or connect with free guest Wi-Fi while you sip and unwind. Hours of Operation: 8am-4pm (daily)
North Shore Beach Cabana
The RB Cabana offers a range of boat rentals from pontoon boats to kayaks and SUP boards. Hourly renting allows for freedom to explore the entire lake at your own pace. We even offer a variety of tours around the lake to learn more about this beautiful mountain area. You can also get your summer staples at the North Shore Beach Cabana! From hand-scooped ice cream by Scoop Ice Cream to fresh apparel and Oakley sunglasses, the North Shore Beach Cabana is your go-to for warm-weather essentials. Stock up on sun protection, grab your favorite snacks and beverages, and treat yourself to a sweet scoop while you’re at it. The North Shore Cabana is open 10am–6pm Friday through Sunday with extended Friday hours until 8pm during Music & Mallows events.
Rumbling Bald Trail
The Buffalo Creek Park Trail System offers approximately five miles of hiking and mountain biking trails. Rumbling Bald’s private trailhead is located at the north end of West Lake Drive. Picnic tables are available at the trailhead and Legends offers box lunches. Please check at the Wellness Center for directions to the trailhead. This map provides directions on how to get to the trailhead from the Wellness Center.
Fitness Trail
In addition to hiking and biking, the fitness trail provides an outlet for a great outdoor workout. The .9 mile loop trail features five workout stations each designed to optimize your workout.

Fishing
Catch Rainbow Trout, Brown Trout, Large Mouth Bass, Small Mouth Bass, Crappie, White Bass, Catfish, Bluegill, and Sunperch in the cool mountain waters of Lake Lure and Bald Mountain Lake. With 27 miles of shoreline and access to the Rocky Broad River, anglers of all ages can enjoy a full day on the water. Guests may also fish at Bald Mountain Lake, located inside Rumbling Bald. This smaller lake has a family-friendly fishing pier and is perfect for children. No license or permit is required here. A valid North Carolina fishing license is required for Lake Lure and the Rocky Broad River. Boating permits for Lake Lure are issued by the Town of Lake Lure. Visit the Town of Lake Lure website for details on boating and fishing permits. Boat launch access and overnight boat storage are available for guests at an additional cost.
