Things To Do

We're so exited to share a few of our favorite places in the area with you. If you need more recommendations, let us know!

Alcantara Vineyards and Winery

3445 South Grapevine Way, Camp Verde, AZ 86322
, (928) 649-8463

This is our wedding location. It also offers great wine tastings and hors d'oeuvres. This spot is dog-friendly as long as they are kept on a leash. They also offer paddleboard yoga on-site on the Verde River! See website for more details.

Sedona Wine Tours

375 Merry Go Round Rock Rd, Sedona, AZ 86351
, 928-963-1890

This is the wine tour we did when we came here for Kaylee's 21st birthday. We highly recommend booking with them - you will not regret it! See website for more details.

Verde Adventure River Trips by Sedona Adventure Tours

612 North Main Street, Cottonwood, AZ 86326
, (877) 673-3661

This company offers a wine tour like no other. You kayak down the Verde River and it takes you to Alcantera Vineyards for a wine tasting. What more can you ask for? Also, they offer a tubing excursion. See website for more details.

204 North State Route 89A, Sedona, AZ 86336
, (800) 873-3662

If you haven't visited Sedona yet or want to see more of what it has to offer, I recommend taking a pink jeep tour. Sedona is beautiful and only about 30 minutes from Cottonwood. We have been to Sedona many times and highly recommend it. See website for more details.

Bell Rock Trailhead

Bell Rock Access Trail, Sedona, AZ 86336

For those who like hiking, we highly recommend this one. We have done it before and it is easy yet also very scenic.

Devil's Bridge Trail

Devil's Bridge Trail, AZ 86336

This iconic hike takes you to the "Devil's Bridge," a picturesque location in Sedona.

Canyon Breeze Restaurant

This cafeteria style restaurant has a variety of affordable dining options and is located in the middle of some shops and galleries in Sedona. There is also an incredible view of the red rocks here. We have been here many times and highly recommend the area.

Merkin Vineyards Tasting Room & Osteria

1001 North Main Street, Cottonwood, AZ 86326
, (928) 639-1001

This restaurant makes all of their food with fresh, locally grown ingredients and you can easily taste the difference. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a nice place for dinner. Also, make sure to buy a bottle of their wine - it does not disappoint!

G's Burgers

1220 South Eastern Drive, Cornville, AZ 86325
, (928) 634-2867

We were recommended this burger place when we stayed at The Vineyards Bed and Breakfast and now we have to go back every time we go up north! If you're a burger and fries person (who isn't??) then this is a must!

For all the days along the way
