I was out at a party in Dallas, one of my favorite local spots called Aso Rock. After being there for a minute, I was approached by a young man and he began to tell me how beautiful I was. He proceeded to ask me my name and a few other details. I replied and continued to dance with my girlfriends. I noticed a pair of eyes on me throughout the night. (I found it quite amusing.) As the night came to an end, I proceeded to walk to my car with my girls. The same young man approached me, but this time he asked me for my number. I just looked at him and smiled. To my greatest surprise he went down on one knee. I thought to myself “what in the world is going on?” To my surprise he asked me, "Will you marry me?" I hysterically laughed as everyone looked at us and proceeded to tell him to get up. I was so shocked! I quickly gave him my number and got in my car. Over the next 2 weeks the young man continued to call but I never picked up. However, one day after seeing his call I asked God "why won’t he just give up?” I decided to answer his phone call and we finally went on our first date… and the rest is history.

I sauntered into a party with my friends then I saw this gorgeous beauty. I immediately lost concentration for a few minutes and could not keep my eyes off her the whole night. She was with a group of friends so I bided my time as it is better to strike in solitude. I finally saw her walking to her car and decided to make the move. I thought to myself that it’s either now or never while thinking of the best line to use. I decided to say to her something she will never forget so I went down on one knee and asked her ‘Would you marry me? With that being the first time speaking to her she looked at me like I was crazy but I didn’t leave till I got her number. For two weeks she never answered my call but I didn’t waiver because I knew this is the woman for me. The woman of my dreams. It’s a dream come true to walk down the aisle with her!
