Welcome Event for Traveling Guests

Casual, everyday wear

This event is for folks traveling to Pittsburgh from out of town and the wedding party. With so much family scattered around the country, we don't see everyone very often, so we're taking this opportunity to spend some time and catch up with folks before the hectic wedding day. The Welcome Event is casual yet catered at Jaden's II. It starts at 4 PM, and dinner will be available at 5 PM. Only our traveling guests and the wedding party can RSVP to this event.

Cocktail Hour

6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Semi-Formal: Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses.

Enjoy appetizers, drinks, and live music while touring the aquarium without having to elbow 1000 kids out of the way! Parking is located in the Zoo's main lot at 7370 Baker Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15206. Once parked, please enter the Zoo's admissions plaza, walk through the open side gate and take either the elevators or escalators up to the Zoo's pathway where you will board two Zoo shuttles. The shuttles will transport you to and from the PPG Aquarium throughout the evening. The walk from the parking lot to the zoo entrance is a bit of a hike, so alternative parking and wheelchair accessible entrances are available for folks who need it. Just let us know if you need specific accommodations when you RSVP.
