Yes! There is ample parking at our venue.
Ubers and Lyft are not common in the area and can be very hard to get on the weekend. There is also no cell service at the venue. Because of this, we recommend arranging transportation ahead of time or staying close to the venue. There are a couple of taxi services in the Yucca Valley area as well.
Cocktail attire, but if you want to wear your cowboy boots, that's cool too :-) The venue is completely open air. Keep in mind the desert cools down at night, so make sure you bring a layer or two. It can also be windy, however we definitely recommend checking the weather before you come. The venue ground is completely dirt; your shoes will definitely be dirty by the end of the night!
If your invitation says "and Family", then yes. If not, we prefer if it was just you. Our goal is to have a very intimate and small wedding and we appreciate your understanding.
The Ruin Venue is located just outside of Pioneertown, CA (about 25 min from Joshua Tree National Park). The rugged nature of the Mojave desert is part of its charm, however it is important to be prepared when visiting such an area. The venue is surrounded by the desert wilderness (pokey cactus and wild animals) and with the lack of cell service, you truly feel like you are on another planet! With this being said, all children invited and attending should be supervised at all times. The landscape around the venue is completely dirt, however it is not too uneven and is handicap accessible.
