We’re getting married!

Jamie and I have known each other since our childhood. We both grew up in Eden and knew some of the same people but on separate paths. It all started with a simple direct message on Instagram from Jamie. He reached out after seeing one of my Instagram posts and we made small talk, just catching up on life! He made sure to slide in a compliment as well lol. Before we knew it, our worlds collided! To be transparent, our story stops and starts. But the beauty in those pauses, was what God was doing to prepare Jamie and I, for each other. Gods timing healed us, prepared us, and brought us back together and the rest has been history! On August 3, 2024, we went to 913 Whiskey Bar in Greensboro for a date night. We had been wanting to try this place so Jamie made a reservation in advance. Trying new restaurants together is one of our favorite things to do and it was also our dating anniversary! Little did I know, our date night would turn into forever and was the easiest yes! Jamie planned everything so carefully down to the ring, gifted my favorite candy, spoke with our waitress when I went to the restroom, and even slipped his phone to our waitress to record and I never noticed! My most favorite, was the hand written note that he wrote me in the card. Jamie started this when we started dating again and would randomly write me handwritten letters and I loved that he incorporated this into our engagement. He still continues to do so on occasions! We are so excited to begin this new journey together. Our love story has been a beautiful ride and we couldn’t be more blessed! We can’t wait to say I do!
