What time does the ceremony start?

Answer

The ceremony will be starting promptly at 4:30 PM. Please plan to arrive at about 4 PM. There is about a quarter mile walk from the parking lot to the ceremony location along a gravel footpath.

Is parking available at Wild Basin Lodge?

Answer

Yes, Wild Basin Lodge has a parking lot directly across the street. It is about a 100' walk from the parking lot to the lodge.

Are children invited?

Answer

While we look forward to spending time with our friend's and family's children over the coming years, we are keeping the wedding adults only please. Kids are welcome at the River Day on Saturday!

What is the dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal. There is about a quarter-mile walk from the venue to the ceremony location on a gravel footpath. High heels are not recommended.

Is the walk to the ceremony required?

Answer

No, drop-off is available. The few parking spots at the ceremony are reserved for the wedding party and grandparents.

What altitude is Wild Basin Lodge at?

Answer

We will be at about 8,000 feet. It is highly recommended guests drink lots of water, electrolytes, and be aware of their sun exposure.

What weather considerations are there?

Answer

All of them! Temperatures during the day could range from 60 to 90, and temperatures at night will get down to as low as 40. The sun at this altitude is about twice as strong than at sea level. Please bring a jacket and sunscreen.
