Before you trust your GPS to take you on the "shortcut" that doubles as a goat trail, do yourself (and your car’s suspension) a favor and read these directions. Unless you’re into white-knuckling your steering wheel while praying your tires don’t slip off a one-lane mountain ledge—then by all means, freestyle it. (I mean it, we went the shortcut coming down from Gatlinburg and I had to laugh to keep myself from mentally spiraling). If you are staying in Tellico Plains and coming to the venue from the west, your GPS will take you the correct way, down the Cherohala Skyway. If you are staying in Vonroe, Maryville, Madisonville or anywhere else north of Tellico Plains, you will take US-411, to TN-68/ New Highway 68 to the Cherohala Skyway. However, if you decide off-roading in formalwear is your thing, I guess it is a good thing there will be an open bar - because you will need a stiff one after that drive! For more explicit instructions from each town, you can visit our Venue's website or by following this link: https://www.moonshinemanorevents.com/uploads/3/7/5/8/37587655/moonshine_manor_directions__1_.pdf
Please RSVP on our wedding website by August 24, 2025. This helps us finalize headcounts for catering and seating arrangements. Thank you!
We recommend arriving at least 15 minutes before the ceremony starts to allow time for parking and seating.
Please refer to your invitation to see if you’ve been allotted a plus-one. If you have questions, feel free to contact us.
Yes! Tellico Plains is a small town and there is one inn in the whole town (Lodge at Tellico). The closest town with more lodging options is Maryville, about an hour north of the venue. There are also a plethora of air bnb/ VRBO options around for a reasonable price as well! Please refer to the "travel" tab under our wedding website for more details.
Yes! There is on-site parking located approximately 50 feet from the ceremony space. The ceremony space is across the street from the reception hall.
You can RSVP via our wedding website. Simply click on the RSVP tab, enter your name, and indicate your attendance.
Although your presence is the greatest gift we could ask for, but for those who wish to give, our registry can be found on the Zola website.
We really hope to hear from you! If we don’t receive your RSVP by September 7, 2025, we’ll assume you’re unable to attend. Please let us know either way so we can plan accordingly
Mid-October in Tellico Plains, TN, usually brings beautiful fall weather with average highs around 70°F and lows near 50°F. It’s typically mild and pleasant, but evenings can get chilly. We recommend bringing a light jacket or shawl, as the ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors. The reception will be held inside.
The ceremony and reception are both being held at Moonshine Manor.
We kindly request that guests refrain from taking photos or videos during the ceremony so that everyone can be fully present in the moment. Don’t worry—our professional photographer will capture everything, and we’ll be happy to share those photos with you later! After the ceremony, feel free to take as many pictures as you’d like 😊
