Best Man
Ryan's little brother and partner in...mischief, not quite crime. Similar in the ways that are valuable and different in the ways that keep life interesting. Aaron is my oldest friend and while he would speak to the many ways I have encouraged him, nothing has made me more proud than to see him overcome monumental adversity and become the man he is today. No one else understands better the long journey its been to get to this point in my relationship journey and there's no one more deserving than him to wear the title of "Best Man."
Maid of Honor
Beth, where to begin?! My sister friend! We do life together, through the good, bad, and everything in-between. I can't imagine life without her and am so glad God let us find each other! I am seeing many reasons God had me wait for my wedding day and one is so she could be beside me. Someone I can ask bizarre questions to, you know the ones you aren't sure you should even think?! Yeah, those. We talk through the tough stuff I'm afraid to talk about with others. She's the call anytime through anything friend. I'm honored to be her sister friend and have the honor of being her daughter's Auntie Toto!
Officiant
And Groomsman as well as Tori's elected big brother and designated introverted friend. Yes, he wears a lot of hats and he wears them all well. He's an example of God's friendship and love for people and one that we get to do life with. We had to share him on this day because he means so much to the both of us :)
Bridesmaid
Tori's longest friend in the group. A consistent confidant and someone who understands me better than most because we are so alike in many ways. We can be our true, authentic selves without shame :) She has an amazing servant heart and so much wisdom to share. I'm blessed to call her my best friend! Bonus: she lets me be Aunt Tori to her three amazing kiddos!
Groomsman
Dom was an unlikely and unexpected friendship for both of us as we seemingly existed on opposite sides of the pond. That didn't stop God from weaving a kindred friendship that granted both of us the ability to see life from a different perspectives. My time in New Mexico was aided tremendously through his unconditional love, honesty, and loyalty as I sorted through a tumultuous time of wrestling with my faith. I'm honored to have him beside me for this special day and don't think I would have been healthy enough without his support.
Bridesmaid
This sweet chocolatier friend of ours. Sam, with her love for Jesus, genuine heart, pure friendship, creative wit, and infectious laugh makes everyone around her feel valued and she brings out the best in me for sure. She has been there through thick and thin and is always willing to help. Her support of our relationship has taken us on adventures, even out of state. There is no one I would rather go eat dumplings and on a TeaJ Maxx date with.
Groomsman
Having not grown up with male cousins, Sean was married into our family and was always a wealth of entertainment with board and video games ready for enjoyment. Finally, my nerd proclivities had found a home where we could share similar interests. Its been wonderful having an older brother and I am so grateful for being introduced to his passion for fun and having him share in this important day. (Sean is pictured here with his beautiful daughter Mara)
Bridesmaid
In 2020, this girl sat next to me outside at church and I noticed a tattoo on her foot that said "walk by faith" and I thought it was so cool. The Holy Spirit told me to tell her and I promptly reminded God I am an introvert and don't do that sort of thing. But He kept pushing so I told her I liked her tattoo, and God took that opportunity and gave us a beautiful friendship. We talked for awhile that first day and have not stopped talking since. She's my blast 90's worship music while we road trip, cry/laugh/wonder/question/ etc. etc. etc. about God, our lives, and through singleness friend. We would not be here today celebrating Ryan and I if she hadn't held me accountable and challenged my limiting God when it came to dating. Thank you couldn't ever cover it.
