After years of searching for love, Eftyhia finally realized she was already fully and wonderfully loved by Jesus. She proclaimed that He is her King and she is His. The very next day she went on a date that was meant to be a pseudo date. As soon as she saw Jacob she realized it was a real date. We talked for an hour after the restaurant closed. Once she gave herself and surrendered to God, He was able to give them both what their hearts have been desiring….each other.

Disney’s Little Mermaid came in 1989 when Eftyhia was 5 years old. She’s been obsessed with mermaids ever since. Disney came out with a remake in 2023. Opening weekend Jacob took Eftyhia to see the movie along with family. It was beautiful and magical. Holding Jacob’s hand throughout the movie Eftyhia remembered watching the movie as a child and dreaming of her finding her prince. Holding Jacob’s hand she felt like she finally find him.
