FAQs

If you have any questions we haven't answered, please email us at edwinandteri@gmail.com.
Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! Please note that there is NO parking at the venue. We are offering shuttles from the Margate Resort, TownePlace Suites, and Gilford Town Hall. Masks are required on the shuttles. If you do not want to take advantage of these shuttles, please plan to take a taxi/uber or arrange other transportation. More information can be found in "Hotels, Shuttles & More."

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

No! Please see above.

Question

Are there any special COVID-19 precautions we should be aware of?

Answer

As the rules currently stand, masks are required on the shuttle buses, when you're going through the buffet line, and at any time you wish to communicate with the DJ. Please check back as we get closer to the wedding, as there may be additional or different conditions to share.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We're (truly) sorry not to get to celebrate with all of your kiddos, but due to space limitations, we ask that you please leave children at home. The only children in attendance will be those in our wedding party.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! Please check "Hotels, Shuttles & More" for information on our two wedding blocks, at the Margate Resort and TownePlace Suites.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We recommend cocktail attire, but wear what makes you comfortable! Please note that the ceremony will be outside and the cocktail hour and reception will both be open-air as well. Keep an eye on the weather, and maybe bring a coat just in case.

Question

What's this on the first page about donating a children's book?

Answer

We're so glad you asked! In honor of our wedding, we plan to make a donation of new and gently used children's books to the Maryland Book Bank (www.mdbookbank.org), a local organization that focuses on building literacy among children in under-resourced areas of Maryland and helping families build home libraries. If you would like to contribute to the book donation, there will be a place to put new and gently used children's books at our wedding, and we'll gratefully donate them on your behalf. All children’s books will be welcome, but if you’re looking for inspiration, MD Book Bank has a wish list of most-requested books here: http://a.co/c9E3gPT
