What time should we arrive to get a good seat?

We recommend arriving 30-45 min prior to the scheduled start time.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Unfortunately not, as we have a strict guest list due to COVID-19 precautions. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

Our beautiful Rome, Georgia weather is hot, humid, and unpredictable. We recommend you bring a hand fan, and light-weight clothing.

Is the ceremony and reception located in the same place?

Answer

Yes! Our beautiful venue will accommodate our ceremony and reception in the same place!

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be outdoors at 6pm, followed by a reception indoors in the lodge.

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

We will have a brief timeframe for pictures and to enjoy the beautiful outdoors before gathering together for our reception dinner

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

Our venue has room for guest parking at no charge. We recommend you arrive early to get lucky with a near spot to the lodge!

May I take a centerpiece/candle/flowers home as a souvenir?

Answer

These are not items to be taken as a souvenir.

Will transportation be provided between to/from the hotel?

Answer

Transportation will not be provided to and from the hotel.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes! We encourage guests to post pictures on to their social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #GarciaOffTheMarket so we can keep track of all of your pictures!

Question

Will food and drinks be served at the reception? What kind of food?

Answer

We will have a full sit-down dinner and non-alcoholic beverages at our reception, but we will not have alcoholic beverages at our reception.

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Answer

Our RSVP deadline is set for April 14, 2021. You may RSVP online.
