Ed and I met years ago through family gatherings and summer sports. We shared lots of hellos, goodbyes see you later and get to see you moments. Years later came back in contact with one another through my work place Blackstone Primary, when he would pick up his grandson. I had Eventually memorized the time of arrival to be sure to make myself available to communicate with him. Time passed on without giving any thought at all, one day I receive an anonymous card in my work mailbox. The card read “Hope every little thought this bring add sunshine to your day and brighten every hour in the nicest way " Sincerely a good friend. Fast forward he eventually revealed himself by asking if i liked the card. Time progressed and we communicated more and eventually started to date. Our first date was at one of my favorite Seafood Restaurants. Everything was just right and we could not keep our eyes off each other. Eventually after months of dating Ed invited me to his home to cook dinner together. After chopping, dicing and dish washing my hands became very dry. I asked him for some lotion, he went into another room only to return with no lotion. 🤔 He had his hands in his pockets and asked to see my hands. I extended my hands and witnessed him dropping on one knee 😯. I am quickly started jumping up and down and asked him what is he doing? As I pulled my hand away he stood up and told me to calm down. As he grabbed my hand he stated I know we’ve had some great times and I would like to make this a lifetime. There was so much more he said to me and of course I said yes which brings us to where we are today. We are two people becoming as one sharing our love, hopes and dreams on Saturday February 27, 2021 we will finally become Mr. & Mrs. Edwin Hayes
