Why do I love Casey Johnston? Casey has always been there for me no matter what. From talking almost daily on drives home from work, to random pharmaceutical questions that pop into my head. From spur of the moment vacations, to late night gaming sessions. From having the most hilarious conversations with the squad, to planning hypothetical futures when he hits the PowerBall Jackpot. Why do I love this guy? He will protect your flank from the scout rush, share his HBO account with you, and always answer your call the second time you try. There is too many reasons as to why I love this guy. So to summarize, he’s my best friend and truly is a Guy Who Cares.

I met Kelsey at the University of Puget Sound. We had the same major and quickly became friends. Kelsey was definitely my ride or die in college. I would not have made it out sane without her. She was my person. We studied together, worked out together, ate all the food together, cried together, laughed together, etc. Even now we still call and text updating each other on life. I am beyond excited that Kelsey is getting married because she deserves all the love!

If you are lucky enough to call Casey Johnston a friend, something is going right in your life. He is the kind of person to drive across the state just to spend some quality time with his friends, crack a joke when it is least expected (and most needed), and make sure the raw meat you ate for dinner didn’t kill you at 2am. After more than a decade of friendship, I have yet to find one bad thing to say about him. I love this guy and am so glad he has found such a great partner in Kelsey!

I love Kelsey because she’s an amazing sister and life-long best friend! We’ve been sharing adventures since 1998, and clearly all of them have been marvelously fun and memorable! I love how she thinks about life differently than me, moves at her own pace, and shares my love of cats and knitting. I’m so excited for Kelsey’s future with Casey and can’t wait to see where life takes them next!

There’s never a dull moment when Casey’s around. He helped me celebrate my 21st birthday at a random dive bar on a Thursday, complete with foosball and a single Blue Moon. Thoughtful, quick-witted, and brimming with the “best” ideas, Casey is truly one of my best friends. I’m thankful for our friendship and can’t wait for the amazing things his future holds!

I first met Kelsey on her first day as a third year medical student. Shortly after that we coincidently found out we were neighbors. I came home one evening and found a cute sticky note with Kelsey’s number on it! We became good friends and bonded over the torture and excitement that is the medical field. I love that Kelsey is also crazy enough to do spin class every weekend and agrees to get tacos after. She’s also down for spontaneous target trips and nail painting sessions. Couldn’t have asked for a better friend to have met in Washington. I’m so excited that she found her person and I can’t wait for the wedding.

The reasons I love Casey are really endless. He is one of the most compassionate people when you’re through his sarcastic side, he wants nothing but the best for his friends, and he may be the most easy going individuals I’ve ever been around. My favorite part is that you’d never guess how smart he truly is because he never once carries himself like someone who knows better than someone else (unless you’re a doctor giving a bad prescription or asking a dumb question).
