Maid of Honor

Alyssa and I met at Texas Women's University while doing gymnastics. We became fast friends shortly after meeting and were inseparable. One of my favorite memories with Alyssa was driving around in my Voltzwagon Beetle with the top down screaming singing, and dancing trying to make people join us as we sat at red lights. The songs ranged anywhere from Jessie McCartney to the Jonas Brothers. Alyssa has been by my side through ups and downs and I could not feel more blessed to have her as my Maid of Honor.

Meet my sister Dakota! We may have had a rocky start to our relationship with her asking my parents if "they could take me back" a few nights after I was brought home, but I could not ask for a better built-in best friend. Dakota and I lived together for about three years when she moved to TX and I am so thankful for that time we had together even though it took us a while to get used to living together again. One of my favorite memories with Dakota is a collection of all the true crime documentaries that were always on at our apartments. We still text each other and ask if either has seen a documentary. It never gets old! I am so excited to have her stand by my side as a bridesmaid.

Meet Katherine, Micheal's sister, and my future sister-in-law. I have been so blessed to have her in my life. She played a big role in Michael and my proposal going off without a hitch. I am so excited to continue growing our friendship and hopefully dog-sitting an adorable corgi in the future. I am so happy to have her by my side as one of my bridesmaids.

Meet Mary, Michael's sister, and my future sister-in-law. I feel so blessed to have her in my life. Michael and I got to spend a weekend with her in Nashville and I was so excited to see all of her favorite local hangouts. I can't wait to continue getting to know Mary and having her by my side as one of my bridesmaids.

Jess and I met at Baylor University during our doctorate program. We bonded quickly during our first lab and had to share an air mattress in the Airbnb. I have felt so blessed to have such a positive light in my life. One of our funniest moments with Jess was our absolute denial that we had mice in an Airbnb after seeing droppings on the counter. We could no longer deny it when we were headed to bed and the beds were covered in mouse droppings and a mouse hanging out of the air vent. We have never packed up and moved out so quickly. I feel so blessed to have her standing by my side as one of my bridesmaids.

Wren Gordan

Wren and I met at Baylor University during our doctorate program. We became fast friends after staying in an Airbnb together at our first lab. One of my favorite memories with Wren was Zumba at 11 pm in the Airbnb living room and never missing a single dance move no matter how silly we looked. I am so excited to have her by my side as one of my bridesmaids.

Moira and I met at Premier Gymnastics of the Rockies in Colorado and became fast friends and bonding over rehab of our elbows and other various injuries. Moira and I have been through so many adventures together and I am so thankful for our friendship. She has been my literal ray of sunshine since the day we met. One of my favorite memories with Moira was white water rafting in Colorado a few summers ago. We were getting splashed and sprayed through the whole ride, but the best part was cliff-jumping together. I am so excited to have her by my side as one of my bridesmaids.

Trevor and I met at Kansas State at the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity house We quickly became friends and are lifetime hunting buddies. One of my favorite memories with Trevor is spring break in New Orleans when we paid to have him sit in the barber shop chair and take multiple fireball shots while getting slapped by the bartender. I am thankful for our friendship and excited to have him my best man.

Blake and I met through Devin. We became friends quickly hanging out in Fort Worth, TX, and going to Rangers games. One of my favorite memories with Blake is going to the College World Series in Omaha, NE for the first time and hanging out at the bars near the stadium after. I am excited to have him as one of my groomsmen.

Devin and I were roommates at Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity at Kansas State. We became friends during some great crawfish boils at his parent's house. One of my favorite memories with Devin was going on his parent's boat in Fort Worth to go water skiing and tubing. I am excited to have him by my side as on of my groomsmen.

Adam and I met at the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity at Kansas State. We became friends during fraternity parties. One of my favorite memories with Adam was smoking a rack of beef ribs at our buddy's lake house and they were the BEST RIBS EVER (and have never been able to replicate it since). I am excited to have him by my side as one of my groomsmen.

Noah and I met at the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity at Kansas State. We became friends when we started hunting in Mt. Vernon, TX. My favorite memory with Noah was meeting him in Oshkosh, WI at the Airventure airshow and he was able to show me around the B-29 that he was volunteering for. I am excited to have Noah by my side as one of my groomsmen.

Chase and I met at the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity at Kansas State. We bonded over conversations about hunting. One of my favorite memories was staying at his parents' house right when COVID-19 started. We spent time riding 4-wheelers and making deer chili since we could not go anywhere. I am excited to have Chase by my side as one of my groomsmen.

One of my favorite memories with him was going to Omaha, NE, and getting some of the best chicken wings at Oscars. I am excited to have Ryan by my side as one of my groomsmen.
