Our favorite date night spot. This waterfront restaurant sits on the inlet and has some of the best sushi in Virginia Beach. We recommend the outdoor covered bar area — it's relaxed, cozy, and has great views.
Orion's Roof
Rooftop restaurant at the Marriott Oceanfront with amazing views, sushi, and cocktails. Great for dinner or drinks. Reservations recommended.
Chick's Oyster Bar
A local favorite for fresh seafood and good vibes. The night of the wedding, we’ll be heading here after dinner for anyone who wants to continue the celebration.
Buoy 44 Seafood Grill
We think they have the best crushes in Virginia Beach — the city’s signature drink. Kristi’s go-to is the Skinny Grapefruit Crush with a splash of orange juice. Plus, great views of the bay while you sip.
Pizza Chapel

A local coffee shop in our neighborhood. We often walk here on our morning beach walks. Great coffee and a relaxed atmosphere.

Our favorite ice cream spot on Shore Drive. They have unique flavors and great classic options, plus homemade waffle cones.
Commonwealth Brewing Co
A great brewery on Shore Drive for beer lovers. Nick's favorite is the Papi Chulo — a hazy IPA with bold fruit flavor and balanced bitterness.
