We're a Hinge success story! Caroline had just moved to Seattle for her summer internship when she connected with Nathan. On our first date, we went to Discovery Park, The Matador, and Gas Works Park. We had an instant connection and quickly followed it up with more dates together! Caroline fell in love with Seattle through Nathan's local perspective and favorite spots. It was a perfect summer.

Caroline still had a few semesters of school left when we got together. She left Seattle and Nathan to study abroad, then moved to Austin for her next internship after that. Caroline spent a year going between Ohio and Seattle as she finished her final internship and school semesters.

Nathan finished grad school and landed a job in Seattle in early spring. Caroline got her dream job in Seattle as well, so she moved to the city after graduating a few months later. Finally, we are both (permanent) residents of the same city!

We got engaged on Christmas Eve while visiting Caroline's family in Akron. We started the day with breakfast at our favorite café, and then we went on a hike. Nathan asked Caroline to marry him at her favorite spot in Cuyahoga Valley National Park!

We're so grateful for all of our friends and family who've supported us from the beginning. If you're reading this, that's definitely you. Thank you! Of course, we know our journey is only just beginning. Get ready to celebrate the beginning of our next era this summer in Seattle, just down the street from where it all started.
