Wedding Party

Tiffany Negrete

Maid of Honor

Ashley and Tiffany met in 8th grade and quickly became best friends. They remained friends through high school, and all the excitement and drama that comes with being teenagers, and continued their friendship through and past college. Through the craziness that is life, they have both managed to remain strong in their friendship. They have even remained close friends after Ashley moved away from North Carolina to Alabama in 2019. To the point that they can pick up the phone and call each other and talk for hours at a time without even realizing that much time has passed! Ashley joined Tiffany for her wedding on June 11, 2022 and she is excited that her best friend will be joining her for hers!

Mattie Ragland

Bridesmaid

Ashley and Mattie are cousins, but being an only child, Ashley always saw Mattie as a little sister. They were both very excited when Ashley would travel to Mississippi from North Carolina because they got to spend time together. Growing up, they shared a love for video games, makeup, and riding four-wheelers. Mattie has grown into a sweet beautiful young lady. Now Ashley is very excited to have her surrogate little sister standing with her on her wedding day!

Mattie Hines

Bridesmaid

Ashley and Mattie met in dental hygiene school and quickly became friends. Though it was a car accident putting Mattie's ability to get to and from school that was the true spark that lit their friendship, as Ashley volunteered to give her rides until her car was repaired. Over their time in school, they bonded over their studies and their mutual love of food. There is a saying that mutual trauma brings people together, well dental hygiene school was very traumatic! Still, they came through together, and both will admit they would not have made it without the other! Mattie was the first of Ashley's friends to make the trip to Alabama to visit her after she moved away from North Carolina. She is thrilled that one of her best friends is visiting once more to help celebrate her wedding!

Krista Marsh

Bridesmaid

Ashley and Krista met in dental hygiene school. Ashley went into dental hygiene school knowing none of her classmates, which was difficult to an introverted and shy lady such as herself. But Krista was among those who welcomed Ashley and encouraged her to break out of her shell. They bonded over their love of food. They forged a strong friendship that lasted through the difficulties of dental hygiene school and Ashley moving away from North Carolina in 2019. Ashley joined Krista's wedding as a bridesmaid on November 3, 2018 and she is so excited that one of her best friends is joining her on her big day!

Olivia & Madelyn

Flower Girl

Livy and Maddie are the daughters of Ashley’s cousin, Kaleb, and his wife, Jessica. Livy and Maddie are two beautiful, rambunctious girls that bring joy wherever they go. Livy loves gymnastics and is excelling in kindergarten. Maddie has a love for Cocomelon and firetrucks. Ashley was honored to be a part of Kaleb and Jessica's wedding in 2015. She is very excited to have their daughters as a part of her wedding!

Brye Forbes

Best Woman

Brandon and Brye met when they both started working at the Mellow Mushroom in Decatur, AL in 2013. They moved in the same friend group while working together and grew closer when they realized they shared similar hobbies and interests. Even when Brandon left Mellow Mushroom, their friendship remained strong and even grew over the years. He supported her decision to go to culinary school and celebrated with her when she graduated at the top of her class! Brye was the first friend he introduced Ashley to when they first started dating and was thrilled when they both seemed to hit it off. Now Ashley considers Brye to be one of her great friends as well! Both Brandon and Ashley are very excited to have Brye join them on their big day!

Evan Allen

Groomsman

Evan is the younger brother of Brandon and the youngest of all three siblings. Brandon was six years old when he found out he was going to have a little brother and he remembers being excited that he was going to be a big brother. As they grew up, they bonded by playing games together, an experience that, while has slowed after entering the chaos of adulthood, is still enjoyed when they both are able to do so. There relationship, while not without typical sibling competition and rivalry (just ask anyone at any family event they get together), is one of mutual brotherly love. Brandon is glad to have his brother standing by his side on his wedding day.

Michelle Foster

Mother of the Bride

To Ashley, her mom isn't just her mom, but also her best friend. Michelle has always been her daughter's biggest supporter and cheerleader in her life. She helped ensure Ashley never wanted for anything, while also tried to balance not overindulging her. She has always wanted the best for Ashley, including encouraging her creative endeavors and pushing her to always do the best she can. This includes listening to Ashley ramble about whatever obsession she had adopted at the time (even if it was something she had never heard of before), going for a 2-hour hike that should only last 30 minutes because Ashley wanted to take a hundred pictures, or just sitting in comfortable silence and reading their own respective books. Ashley will always love and appreciate Michelle as the best mother she could have ever asked for.

Michael Foster

Father of the Bride

Michael came into Ashley's life in 1996 when she was just three years old. He will freely admit that she stole his heart when she introduced herself while wearing a princess gown and saying "Hi, I'm Cinderella!" before twirling away. Even one of his first dates with Ashley's mom was taking the two of them to a Barney concert! Over the years, he has always been a true father, always helping to guide her to success or help bring her back on track when faced with struggles. She will always appreciate his aplomb (such as when she was learning how to drive and her mom was a nervous wreck) and his courage (like when he was her first ever dental patient). He's the best dad she could have ever asked for.

Enga Allen

Mother of the Groom

A dedicated mother and grandmother, Enga has always devoted herself to being a nurturer for her family. Her family is a great source of pride for her. Unsurprisingly, of the five love languages, quality time ranks highly. This is a principle that was instilled on Brandon as well. One of his fondest memories from childhood was the ritual that he and his mom had when she would take him to school. They would stop to get breakfast from Burger King, where they would just talk and help Brandon prepare for school that day. She also placed a high value on education and encouraged him to push himself. He is thankful to his mom for always encouraging him and for being his advocate when he needed one.

John Allen

Father of the Groom

John is a true family man who loves his children and would do anything for them. He has worked tirelessly to ensure that his family would have everything they could need, even at the cost of himself. And Brandon has always known that he would be able to turn to his father in an hour of need. This is something he has always deeply admired and respected about his father. Growing up, Brandon played many sports, all the way from tee-ball in elementary school to football and track and field in high school and to track and field in college. He remembers that his dad never missed a game. Reliable, strong, honest, protective. To Brandon, these are the things that best describe his father.
