Our Story
We first matched on The League while we were both in Houston, Matthew was there for a football game (go Cougs!) and Edward was visiting family for Thanksgiving. We didn’t actually swipe on each other until we were back home, Matthew in Seattle and Edward in Minneapolis, and both assumed the distance meant it wouldn’t go anywhere. Thankfully, our friends and family encouraged us to take a chance… and we’re so glad we did.
The Big Question
Early on, Matthew said he wanted to be the one to ask when the day came. While traveling along the Amalfi Coast, he secretly arranged a private sunset boat ride overlooking Positano. With family and friends watching from the hillside, he proposed against the backdrop of the glittering city and sea. Afterward, everyone gathered for a surprise dinner at Le Sirenuse to celebrate, and the night ended dancing at Music on the Rocks, the perfect close to a perfect evening.
