We're getting married!

In June, we met at the church picnic. Eddie, who lived over an hour drive away, started attending Mosaic Christian Fellowship through Pastor Yo Sop Shin and friends. After helping serve the church with boxes full of Jersey Mike Subs at the picnic, Eddie was called by the other church members to throw around a football and was introduced to Mary!

After one year of dating, Eddie devised a plan to propose in Newport Beach after flying out to LA to help David, Mary’s little brother, to move into his university. But unfortunately, Mary got a severe infection in her throat from an impaled Chipotle chip. She had to be rushed to the emergency room and Eddie’s plan was ruined. Eddie had to reserve a yacht for this event and had to message the owner to apologize. There are usually NO REFUNDS and NO RESCHEDULES written in the contract, however the yacht owner was so kind to make this one exception. Two days later, in still a bad condition, Mary was confused why she was brought to a strange boat and on Mary’s favorite sunset, Eddie pulled out the ring.

Eddie’s immediate family all moved back to Korea especially due to Eddie’s mother taking care of his grandmother. Mary’s great grandmother and grandparents reside in Korea as well. We wanted to accommodate the elders to come so please understand the far wedding in Korea.
