There's nothing better than walking, riding bikes, or scootering around the National Mall to see the various memorials, monuments, and museums. You can find Capital Bikeshare locations throughout the city or use Uber/Lyft to find a scooter.
Georgetown has the best shopping in the city! Walk around M Steet and Wisconsin Ave and then stop by historic Martins Tavern to sit in the booth where JFK proposed to Jackie. You also have to go to YELLOW which is our favorite cafe in the city!
Grab a coffee on Saturday and Sunday, then browse the vendors at the Eastern Market farmers market.
This is one of DC's most popular restaurants and we love it. Some will say the burger is overhyped but we don't think so! This restaurant is surrounded by a ton of other good restaurants and bars if you aren't able to get a table.
Union Market is a great place to go grab a casual lunch! This food hall has options for everyone and really great food. Nearby there are many restaurants as well!
This bar is located on the rooftop of Hotel Washington. There are incredible views of the National Mall.
