Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Maegan Barry and Edward Hobbs

Smithsonian Museums

Washington, DC

There are 17 Smithsonian Museums throughout the city all of which are free to visit.

National Mall

Washington, DC

There's nothing better than walking, riding bikes, or scootering around the National Mall to see the various memorials, monuments, and museums. You can find Capital Bikeshare locations throughout the city or use Uber/Lyft to find a scooter.

Georgetown DC

Washington, DC 20007

Georgetown has the best shopping in the city! Walk around M Steet and Wisconsin Ave and then stop by historic Martins Tavern to sit in the booth where JFK proposed to Jackie. You also have to go to YELLOW which is our favorite cafe in the city!

Eastern Market DC

225 7th Street SE, Washington, DC 20003

Grab a coffee on Saturday and Sunday, then browse the vendors at the Eastern Market farmers market.

Le Diplomate

1601 14th Street Northwest, Washington, DC 20009

This is one of DC's most popular restaurants and we love it. Some will say the burger is overhyped but we don't think so! This restaurant is surrounded by a ton of other good restaurants and bars if you aren't able to get a table.

Union Market

1309 5th Street Northeast, Washington, DC 20002

Union Market is a great place to go grab a casual lunch! This food hall has options for everyone and really great food. Nearby there are many restaurants as well!

VUE Rooftop

515 15th Street Northwest, Washington, DC 20004

This bar is located on the rooftop of Hotel Washington. There are incredible views of the National Mall.

Walter’s Sports Bar and Restaurant

10 N Street Southeast, Washington, DC 20003

It wouldn't be fair if we didn't include our favorite sports bar in Navy Yard where we live!
