Cocktail to Formal Attire
Yes, young children are allowed at the ceremony and reception. However, we strongly recommend alternative arrangements due to both the church and reception hall being historic buildings. There will be alcohol served at the reception, and no additional child services available for guests. Additionally, pets are not permitted at the ceremony or reception.
When standing in front of Baldwin Memorial United Methodist Church, Baldwin Hall (white exterior) is located catty-corner off of General's Highway.
While we sincerely appreciate any gifts that guests would like to provide, our preference would be for any donations towards repairing and maintaining our new home. As a century-home built in the 1920's, there are many systems that will require work in the years ahead. Any assistance that can be put towards starting a home-repair-emergency-fund would be warmly welcomed. Our only request is that our guests enjoy themselves and share in our celebrations of union!
After the ceremony, appetizers will be available for guests at Baldwin Hall prior to the bride and groom being introduced as a married couple. Afterwards, a stationary display of food will be available with several entrees, sides and desserts. Coffee will be offered towards the end of the evening.
Sodas, juices and water will be available, as well as an open bar with varied selections (i.e. beer, wine and basic cocktails)
