Summer of 2015, I was finishing my first year of college & Edward was finishing his second year of college. One of my bridesmaids, Julia Moraes, had invited me to hangout that night at her parent's home. When I showed up to her house, a cute blue eyed boy answered the door and as soon as I got up to Julia's room I started asking who he was. He was living with Julia's family that summer. He wasted no time as well and kept making appearances to the room to try show off his sense of humor and win me over. Nonetheless, I kept coming back to Julia's house for more hangouts...and Edward kept taking multiple study breaks to come upstairs and make me laugh. If you know Edward, you know how romantic this man is and our honeymoon phase was something I never thought I'd get to experience, especially at 19 years old. He completely made every single day of that summer of mine filled with gifts, flowers, day trips and the most amazing dates around Boca Raton. The rest of our story is filled with periods of long distance as school and our goals pulled us away into different directions. We really fought for our love and the relationship we still maintain to this day and we can't wait to finally celebrate our dream day with all of you! -Aly

We always agreed that we wouldn't get engaged until we both finished up school, so in that case I knew I had to do it before I graduated dental school in order to truly surprise Aly. One of my groomsmen, Zohaib, works and has private access to the famous Rockefeller rooftop where I proposed. Ever since I laid eyes on this rooftop back in 2018 I knew this is where I'd propose. Hiding this master plan from Aly for 5 months was hands down the hardest task of my life... but somehow it all played out perfectly. What she thought was going to be our friend Zain's birthday dinner, turned out to be me standing there waiting for her with her diamond ring. About an hour before I proposed, NYC decided to play some games with me by starting to rain. I sat there and prayed like never before and somehow the sun decided to come out right before Aly came up to the rooftop. I played her favorite song while she walked towards me and the rest was history. Best night of our lives thus far, hands down. I could have never pulled it off without my amazing and talented team of friends & family! -Edward
