Eduardo had all but given up on dating, and after a string of horrible online adventures Rachael was pretty content taking a break as well. That's when Rilene (one of Rachael's co-workers) stepped in and helped set up a blind date. With nothing but a low quality picture and a few text exchanges they decided to meet at a local restaurant in Powell, Ohio called Kraft House No 5 and the rest is history! We had no idea that this would be the last first date for each of us.
On the anniversary of our first date, after we sat in the same booth from that very first night, Eduardo got down on one knee and proposed. The first of many surprises! After an impromptu engagement shoot, we walked next door to the private room of Prohibition (which Eduardo's mom and sister had BEAUTIFULLY decorated), and we were met by our families. Not only were all of our parents and siblings there but Eduardo also flew in Rachael's sister from Virginia Beach. There was a musician, photos of the newly engaged couple, and an incredible cake! We laughed, ate, drank and had the time of our lives that night and we cannot wait to do it again with all of our friends and family!
