While we wish everyone was able to join us in person, the current environment has made that more challenging than initially planned. Luckily we are not alone in Covid wedding planning and new techonogy is giving us the ability to live stream our ceramony with you all using a platform called Lovecast. About Lovecast: There is no app or password require to access the live stream. Simply copy the link below into a web browser on any device to access our event page. Feel free to visit the site in advance of May 1st and RSVP. The RSVP feature will email you reminders to join on the big day. You are not required to RSVP in order to access the live stream but we would love if you did so we know who to expect virtually. We will be starting the live steam a few minutes before the wedding at 5PM CST so if you join further in advance, please allow a bit of time for the video to start. https://loveca.st/0521-C4FPLLU Looking forward to having you with us! Paige & Wayo
It was the summer of 2015 when we were first introduced by Joe Paladini at a group brunch. Joe and Wayo have had a "bromance" since college so I knew they were best friends. Joe was and still is my coworker. Although breakfast was fun we went our separate ways... Now, fast forward to a winter night in December. Joe (of course) invited Wayo to a Christmas party where we had some time to talk and get to know each other a little better. After the party, Wayo finally worked up the courage to ask me on an official date. Our first date started at a downtown Chicago restaurant. Once we finished dinner, I suggested to Wayo that we walk by the Christmas window display at Macy's on Michigan Avenue. If you are from Chicago, you may have noticed something wrong with that last sentence. The Macy's Christmas windows are on State Street. Unfortunately, Wayo, the “Texan” didn’t know that and neither did Paige, the “Chicagoan”. After a two mile walk in the freezing cold Chicago winter, saying “it must be coming up soon” we finally hit Lake Michigan. At this point it was safe to say, something wasn’t right. However, while trying to be in the moment, neither of us had our phones out all night. Little did we know, due to the cold weather, both of our phones were now dead. This made google mapping extremely difficult! One hailed taxi ride later, we finally saw the Christmas windows and havent looked back since! I've always said, it was that night that I realized I would marry the perfect gentleman who walked the winter streets of Chicago with me.
