Yup, you read that right. SIX YEARS LATER. Marilyn had plans on going to a high school banquet on a gloomy, cold Saturday night with a friend and have no intentions running into Eduardo. That is until she got to the entrance and realized that Eduardo actually had an extra ticket that got her in. So technically she was his date. But let's take it back to six years ago. Eduardo was store manager for Mcdonalds in Hilmar, CA, and Marilyn had just moved back from Firebaugh. She made some friends in Hilmar who got hired at McDonalds which was down the street from her house. Obviously, they were going to end up having mutual friends. They got to hangout every so often when the McDonalds crew would hangout. Marilyn always thought Eduardo hated everyone because he was just so quiet and to himself. One night they attended a bonfire and that's where Marilyn noticed how funny he was after a couple of beers. They added each other on social media and would comment on each other's post and stories every so often. Shortly after the McDonalds in Hilmar closed due to renovations and Marilyn moved to Atwater. That was that. Days turned to months and months into years; they remained friends. The Banquet came and will just like the title The Butterfly effect happened. That night changed their lives. Marilyn followed up on Eduardo that next morning since he had been drinking and well Eduardo did not hesitate in asking Marilyn out on a date not just one day but two! Talk about a bold guy! The rest was history. Life brought them back together. A year into their relationship they found the person they want to spend the rest of their life with. They love each other unconditionally.
