A couple of cool places to check out while you are in Austin

Love visiting town lake, this is one of the few places you can actually go swimming. We took kayaking lessons near here on Town Lake a couple years back.

Barton Springs

Love visiting this museum, the collection is always changing and it is connected to the UT Austin Campus. Ellsworth Kelly's "Austin" is a must see.

Blanton Museum of Art

We have had many date nights at South Congress, a vibrant stretch of hip boutiques, trendy lodging options, Austin-original eateries, and live music.

We frequent this restaurant, best tasting ramen we have ever had.

Ramen Tatsu-ya

Renovated houses turned into bungalow bars reign supreme on this increasingly popular tucked-away street.

Rainey Street

This area is not only for hiking. As one of the city’s most prized attractions, the Barton Creek Greenbelt is filled with mountain biking trails and beautiful limestone bluffs for rock climbing, and several swimming holes to enjoy.
