How do you put 10+ years of love and history into a small romance novel? We promise to try and keep it short and sweet! Eduardo and Isabel met when they were just 15 years old at Robert E. Lee High School. Eduardo was an athlete with an interest in health and pharmaceutical studies, while Isabel attended a performing arts program with the dreams of stepping on Broadway. They shared a few classes together and participated in many fundraising campaigns and peer assistance programs throughout their schooling years. After graduating from High School with honors & scholarships, they set foot on their next chapter, college! Just after two short years at the University of the Incarnate Word, they both had a strong desire that something was missing from their young and adventurous lives, travel! Together they traveled all over the world, from the snowy Grouse mountains, rainforests and 1000 ft. high bridges, to the aqua waters of St.Marteen. Making memories with family and friends along the way. While traveling and working hard over the years always kept them busy, they both had an understanding for one another’s dreams and always believed in God’s perfect timing. Fast forward, a few short 10 years later, Eduardo booked them a trip to their favorite city, Las Vegas, to celebrate their 10 year anniversary. After a romantic dinner he took Isabel to a rooftop lounge where she thought they were just going to take some pictures. But Eduardo had a much bigger plan. After they stepped off the elevator of the 60th floor, they were welcomed by a red carpet, candlelit walkway, fireworks and an arch full of roses, where Eduardo (FINALLY) got on one knee and popped the question. A very emotional surprise for Isabel as one could imagine, and a beautiful moment in their lives they will never forget. Which brings us here today! So pack your bags and dust off your dancing shoes, because these High School sweethearts are finally saying “I DO”!
